Half Term Update

Wow! What a busy start to the year!  All children have settled into their new classes well, with lots of happy faces around the school.

By this stage, all children should have their stationery organised - with a special thanks to you all for your patience with the ordering of this and to the ladies (Jan, Sandy, Julie, Patricia L) for their hard work to get all orders sorted and delivered to their child's class.  This is a huge job!!!

Our first parent conferences were very successful.  These parent conferences are for you to formally meet your child's teacher and discuss how your child has settled into school and classroom routines, so that an effective link can be established to ensure your child has a successful year. 

This year, in the Senior School, the year 5 & 6 children were expected to attend their conference and share their feelings about school and their goals for the year with their parents and teacher.  This is seen as a way for the students to take responsibility for their own learning and empower them to feel they can succeed with two joint forces (parents & teacher) guiding and supporting them.

Exciting news for the junior children - their adventure playground in well underway!
