Special Visitors

When groups of overseas short stay students visit the school they are fully emersed in the English language. During their time here they travel to places around Auckland and also take part in our senior and middle school activities. 

A highlight for many of them is going on school educational trips. These can include art galleries, and outdoor education centres such as; Arataki, Carey Park, Stedfast Park, or islands in the Waitemata Gulf.

Students attending express how much fun they have here in New Zealand and the lovely friendships they had made here at Western Heights Primary. Their command of the English language is enhanced through immersion at Western Heights
