Week 1, Term 2 2010

Kia ora parents, caregivers and friends of the school,

Welcome back to another very busy term.  I hope that you all had good holidays and I know that the children have arrived back keen to learn with the teachers keen to teach.  They have planned interesting programmes which include some trips to support these. We have started the Term with a Knowledge-a-thon, which I am sure the children will find challenging, but not too onerous.  Later in the term we are having a Cultural Focus Week to celebrate who we are.

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of seeing some of our pupils play soccer and it is great that Autumn /Winter does not deter our sports people.

WELL DONE Alex Harris!  Alex has been selected to play for the United Soccer 1 U10 Waitakere Centre of Excellence. As you know, Sandra is away on her Sabbatical this term and I am acting in her place.  If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me or the Team Leaders.

Pat Hutton.
