Dear Parents/Caregivers.
Kia Ora, I hope you managed to have a break over Easter.
As you will have noticed the buildings are starting to take shape with the steel frame for the new administration going up last week.
Topic
Our theme this term is ‘Healthy Water, What a Precious Resource.'
School Council
This year we have an enthusiastic and responsible group of class councillors.
They will be travelling to Telstraclear Pacific Events Centre to participate in the Young Leaders Conference this Thursday.
The school council have had two very successful fundraising ventures already. Proceeds from their fundraising have gone towards supporting the Jump Jam competition team and the new junior playground. Thank you for your support.
Sport T Shirts
There are still a few sport shirts available. The cost of the T shirt is $12.
Please order using an envelope with the child's name and class space.
Other events Cross Country, Twin Streams Planting, Water Care educator visits, a pond visit, Star Dome visits, Times Tables Challenge, Spelling Bee and Whole School Syndicate Disco.
Reminders As the wet weather is upon us could you please ensure your children have a change of clothing in their school bag.

Homework: Children should be reading for at least 30 minutes per night, practising basic facts and spelling words. Children will be set specific pages from the Sigma Maths Homework book weekly. Please ensure your child returns the homework on the day set by the teacher.
