Paper Recycling

We have begun a big campaign around the school to become better paper recyclers!  We have began making sure we have used both sides of the paper before it reaches the bin and when it does go into the bin we are putting in our special "paper recycling" which is collected everyday by the 'Enviro Team' to recycle in our big school paper bin.  4/5/09

School Vege Patch

An area has been fenced off by the swimming pool to become our school 'vege patch'.  The Enviro Team will be designing and helping to build raised garden beds, where each syndicate will have an area to look after.  30/6/09

Bush Expansion/regeneration

The Enviro Team will be having a 'planting day', planting a range of native trees to expand and regenerate our school bush (located at the bottom of the fields)  Their goal has been to research to find out what trees native birds like to see if we can try and encourage more native birds and wildlife to return to our school area. 6/8/09
