Planting at Opanuku Stream

Term 2 

The senior school children have made 3 visits to our local stream to plant native trees to help regenerate the bush and bring back wildlife into the area. 

Some children were so enthusiatic they planted more than 50 trees by themselves!

Each day the classes managed to plant around 2,500 native trees - an outstanding effort!
