Class Space 9

Hi, and welcome to Class Space 9's homepage.

We are a class with 26 children full of enthusiasm.  There are a mixture of Year 3 and 4's who enjoy lots of different topics. 

Term 2 was lots of fun as we learnt about flying and falling.  Our favourite thing was learning how to make paper planes that fly really well.  In a journal story we read about turning bottles into rockets so we all bought a plastic bottle to school and transformed it into a rocket.  Mrs Buckingham used our electric ball pump to blast it off into space.  They flew high!!!

Wow, term 3 has started off with a lot of excitement.  Harold the Giraffe from the Life Education Caravan came to visit us.  He showed us lots of cool things to do with healthy eating.  In our class we have started to bring lots of food from the 'eat often' section of the food pyramid and less of the 'treat food'.

Our whole school is taking part in a New Zealandathon where we will be tested on information all about NZ.  Some of the questions we know and others we have to learn.  You can come and see our display in our classroom which is helping us to remember all the information.
