Hi

We are a group of 27 Year 3 and 4 children.  Our teacher is Mrs Hodder. 

During term 2 we studied Flying and Falling it was a fun Science and Technology topic. We got the opportunity to build a variety of flying objects like 'helicopters', many different paper planes and  kites.  The highlight was the trip to Corban's Estate Art Center where we learnt about Matariki (the Maori new year) and made an huge class kite in the Maori tradition.

Another enjoyable subject was art of a still life after studying famous artists still life paintings.  We chose to do our still life of a bowl of fruit using pastels. You can view some of our art below.
