Class Space 8

Kia Ora and welcome to C.S.8's webpage.  We have 26 cool kids in our class who are very talented writers, readers, artists and mathematicans.  Did we mention that we are also clever sports people!  You can find us moving to the beat of Jump Jam first thing in the morning.  It is not only enjoyable but it gets our hearts pumping and keeps us fit.  When we get back to class our brains are ready for a day of action-packed learning. 

We are currently learning about 'healthy eating' and 'food for energy'! It was great fun going to visit the life education caravan and we all learnt about the importance of eating a variety of foods. 

We are about to celebrate our 100 day Party on Friday 27th July!  This is when the children will bring in 100 objects to celebreate 100 days at school.  We will have a shared lunch in our classroom and to end the day a disco in the hall.  This is a chance for everyone to show case their dancing talent- even the teachers!

The Nzathon is a fundraising event coming up this term.  The Year 1's will be asked 10 questions and the Year 2's 20 questions.  Come and have a look at the display in our classroom and see how much you know about the country we live in. The children will probably come home and want to ask you some of the questions.

Look out for all the exciting events we have coming up this term.  Pyjamas day on the 8th of August is always a snuggyly and cosy event.  Our Fancy Dress Folk Dancing show is coming up in September.  Remember to keep your eyes on the notice board in our classroom to keep yourself updated on what is going on in C.S.8!
