Class Space 7

Welcome to class space 7's web page.

We are a year 1 and 2 class.  Last term we had a wonderful trip to Pacifica and learnt a lot about the culture and crafts that they do in the Pacific Islands.  As a part of this unit we created our own tapa cloths which turned out awesome.  We really enjoyed learning facts for our New Zealand-a-thon and we raised a lot of money from it for our playground.  The folkdancing performances were a hit again with many families supporting their children.  We learnt about a balanced diet and brain juice (water) which helps us to learn and concentrate each day.

This term we are learning about night and day where we are using inquiry based learning to come up with our own questions to find out information.  We are then learning about dinosaurs where we will have an exciting trip to the museum.Other events this term include a skip off, lovely calendar art will be produced and we have speeches.

We are continuing with Jump Jam every day to start our day off, where we enjoy the parents joining in with us.
