Kia Ora!

Welcome to Class Space 6's web page!

We are 5, 6 & 7 year olds. There 10 boys and 13 girls in our class.

We had a fantastic Term Three!

Our Term started with our 100 day party - we all brought along a collection of 100 things to display and had a disco to celebrate being at school for 100 days!

We learnt all about 'Food for Energy' and got to visit Harrold in his fantastic caravan!

We studied the Pacific Islands and spent the day at Corban's Art Centre dancing, weaving and eating! Yum!

We learnt all about 'Keeping Ourselves Safe', learning about how special we are, how to get help and how to say no if we need to.

We also each presented our Newspaper News to the class. We chose an article which interested us and we presented it to C.S.6, we had to answer lots of questions about our article.

We ended the term on a really high note with our Folkdancing performance - we dressded up in fancy dress and performed our dances for our family and friends! A great day!

 This term we are learning about 'Day and Night' and later we are learning about Dinosaurs - with a trip to the museam! For P.E we are doing skipping and athletics and for oral language we will be presenting speeches on a topic which interests us!
