Class Space 14

Welcome to CS14's page!

We are a class of 5 year olds. We have had an exciting start to 2007 with lots of learning happening in our class.

Our favourite Term 1 moments include swimming lessons, our first hatched monarch, our Cat In The Hat is 50 celebrations & us all dressed in blue for National Drink water day.

There is also some pictures of our beautiful artworks, both pastel and pencil sketch butterflies and some of our Statistics study from term one (graphing).

Term 2 included a great day at MOTAT. We were learning about life 100 years ago, particularly focussing on toys and baking. Check out the PHOTOS tab for our Pod A grandparents Day to see some more great photos of our class. You will see the lovely tin of old fashioned biscuits Georgia's Mum sent in for us to eat, and how many were left when they were finished!

On Friday 27 July we celebrated 100 days at school! We all brought collections of 100 items to school to count, had a shared lunch and an afternoon disco. Great Fun!

In Term 3 we learnt about Healthy Eating and were excited to have Harold visiting us in the Life Education caravan. We also had a great trip to Pasfika at the Corban Centre and worked with Constable Stace learning to Keep Ourselves Safe.

In Term 3 we did some beautiful art work. In the pictures you can see some lovely paintings, prints and tapa we made.

In Term 4 we are learning about Day and Night and Dinosaurs. We are going to the Museum to learn about dinosaurs on 14th November. We will spend the last couple of weeks having fun with Christmas crafts.
