Term 3 Newsletter
Senior Syndicate Term 317th July, 2007 Dear Parents/Caregivers. This term all classes will be visiting the Life Education caravan in Weeks one and two. Our focus for this health unit will be body systems and making the right choices. A homework activity booklet will be given to the children to complete at home over Weeks two and three. A school wide NZathon will begin in Week 4 and children will need to learn the information from their specific booklet for homework in Weeks 4, 5, 6 and 7. The testing day will be Friday 31 August Week 7. Our topic focuses for the term are Body Journey, (Life education) Looking at N.Z, The Rocky Shore and Keeping Ourselves Safe- Getting help.
Other events during the term are Henderson Cluster Winter Sports Field Day, Choir festival; Twin Streams tree planting; Year 6 Technology Tasters; Wacky Wednesday; Basic Facts Challenge, Spelling Bee and Senior Syndicate Theme Disco.
