- Health Issues – Children with coughs, headaches or a general ‘unwell’ feeling need time to recover at home. Please ensure all children wear warm clothes and shoes during winter. If you could contribute one box of tissues for class use it would be appreciated.
- Lunches – Please continue to provide healthy food including fruit and water drinks. Children often need more during these colder days.
- Before and after school – Children arriving before 8.30am need to be at ‘Before School Care’. This is preparation time for teachers as well as attending various meetings.
- Homework – Quality work is expected and all activities completed unless a note is sent to the teacher. Spelling practise and reading is a daily activity.
- Instructional readers to be returned daily and library books on child’s set library day.
- Clothing and footwear – please label all items so that lost property is easily identified and claimed. If your child borrows some clothes from the Sick Bay please wash and return them. Children who play on the field need to have a change of clothes in a plastic bag kept in school bag.
