#1 - 8th February, Week 1

Kia ora Parents, Caregivers and Friends of the schoolWelcome to the new families who have joined our school community this week.  These newsletters are produced fortnightly and come home on a Thursday. We have had an excellent start to the year with a letter from Steve Maharey informing us that we are entitled to more office and staffroom space.  The project that is planned for later this year is worth $817,000.  You will be well aware of our very small foyer and main office that was built to accommodate a school of 450 children about ten years ago.

Traffic Safety At The School Gate It has been very pleasing to see the patience shown by motorists at the school crossing this week.  Drivers have been stopping to let the monitors put out the signs and this proactive behaviour is fantastic.  The Safety Outside Schools promo must be working.
