Class Space 7

Teacher: Julie Grant
Year: One & Two

Kia Ora and welcome to the Class Space 7's web page for 2006!

Class Space 7 have had an exciting and busy term. We had a pyjama day early on this term with a parade to show off our PJ’s which made for an exciting day which we all went home rather tired from.

We have learnt about How the Kiwi Lost its wings and are making papier mache kiwis which have taken time and patience but we are waiting with great anticipation of the finished result at the end of the term.

The junior school took a trip down to the Corban Estate and did some clever recycled art.

We are learning about Keeping Ourselves Safe at the moment and have loved having Constable Stace coming in to talk to us about how to recognise a Constable and his role in the community.

We are learning about friendship and how we can show this to others in our class and in the school. We are also learning about how others can know that we are using respect and virtues in the school.

We always love our Fancy Dress Folkdancing evening where we show off our skills and talents of dances from around the world with fantastic costumes within the junior school.

We are looking forward to the lovely sunny weather for term 4 with the use of our sunhats again in full force and Jump Jam outside again with more room all children and parent participation.

Term four will also hold lots of fun things where we can share and care for each others and our environment once again.

Take care, from Class Space 7.
