Class Space 6

Teacher: Jane Morss
Year: Two

Kia Ora and Welcome to Class Space Six’s homepage!

We are a class of 24 year 1 & 2's who absolutely love learning!

We have had a fantastic term so far! We made recycled paper which we took down to the Corban’s Estate Art Centre to make into books. While we were there we also reused old junk to turn it into fun new toys and made some fabulous peg people.

Miss Morss read us the Maori Legend ‘How the Kiwi lost it’s wings’. We think this is a fantastic story about helping others so we retold the story and created some beautiful vivid and dye pictures to decorate it as a wall story. We are now very busy making some paper mache Kiwi money boxes; we are looking forward to painting them and putting on their googly eyes!

We have been very lucky to have Constable Stace come to visit us to teach us all about keeping ourselves safe, we especially enjoyed see his police car and hearing it’s siren’s.
In C.S.6 we are great at reminding others about ‘The Western Height’s Way’! We remind them about treating others as we would like to be treated and to give their very best effort to everything they do at school.

We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures of our class and finding out all about us!
