Greetings and welcome to Class Space 5's web page!

We are a great group of children and we're looking forward to having an exciting year. We have been talking about the 'Western Heights Way' and how to behave at school. We know that caring for others is a really special thing. We are learning to listen carefully, to share our equipment, to speak nicely to people and most of all, to have fun at school.

We know that it is important to have brain food in our lunch boxes and to have plenty of water to drink. We're also learning about water safety and sun safety. On our trip to Long Bay Beach on 21st February, we will be able to practice all the important things about being safe around the water.


Later on this term, we are going to visit The Auckland Zoo as part of a Technology unit, to learn about composting and Zoo Poo. We hope to be able to see the kiwis while we are there as well as all the other animals.

We're a quality class and we do great work every day. We're counting down to our 100 day party which will be later on in Term 2.
