Class Space 3

Teacher: Ester Greeff
Year: One

Hello and welcome to Class Space 3's web page!

We are a cool group of children who have had a great time at school where we learn in a positive and fun way.

In Term Three, we celebrated 100 days at school. We made collections of 100 items to count and display. After a shared lunch we had a Disco in the hall. It was wonderful having our mums help us with our collections.

We have been to visit the Waitakere Waste Minimisation Centre where we learnt about recycling.

Our focus has been on “saving our environment”. On our trip to Corban Art Centre we met different artists who worked with us.

We each made a junk bug, decorated a peg doll, and made a little book and a collage puzzle.

It was a fun day when everyone came to school in their Pyjamas. We had a parade in the hall and saw so many different patterns and colours.

The highlight of Term Three was our Folk dancing show.

We all dressed up and danced with our partners.

In Term Four we will continue our focus on keeping ourselves safe. Constable Stace taught us how to make a 111 Emergency call.

This Term we will be learning how to be safe on the road.

We are looking forward to our trip on the train to Britomart.

Enjoy our lovely pictures.
