Hello and welcome to Class Space 1’s webpage for 2006!

We are a happy and lively group of children who all enjoy learning in a positive and fun way. We enjoy class discussions and sharing our own news with our classmates and are really enjoying our first year at school.

We have had a lot of fun with going on many interesting trips this year, such as to the zoo, to the Waitakere Waste Minimisation Centre, and then to the Corbans Art Centre. Our focus has been on “saving the environment” and we have learned about how to recycle our rubbish and to use certain things more than once. The artworks that we have made so far have been creative and exciting to make.

Term four should give us another chance to explore our clever ideas and vivid imaginations as to how we can be more environmentally responsible, and we can also put into practice our social skills that we have been learning about all year. We love to be kind and respectful to each other, and we have made lots of friends.
